Digital accessibility: non-compliant
Digital Accessibility: We’re Working on It!
At the Lille European Metropolis Tourist Office, we love it when everyone can enjoy our information—no exceptions. Whether you’re a keyboard pro, a mouse enthusiast, a screen reader user, or a smartphone browser… whether you have a disability or not, our goal is to make visiting our website smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
The Lille European Metropolis Tourist Office is therefore committed to making its websites, intranet, and extranet accessible in accordance with Article 47 of Law no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005.
Where Are We Today?
Let’s be transparent: our site is not yet compliant with the RGAA (General Accessibility Improvement Guidelines).
But this isn’t the end of the story! We’ve decided to roll up our sleeves and completely overhaul our website to integrate all 106 accessibility criteria right from the redesign stage.

What We’re Doing in Practice
- Appointment of an RGAA Accessibility Coordinator
- Training our teams in digital accessibility
- Technical and graphic redesign of the site
- Rewriting and adapting content for greater clarity and readability
Regular testing to ensure each improvement is going in the right direction
What’s Next?
When our new site is ready, it will undergo a full audit by an independent expert.
The results will be made public, and we will then publish an official accessibility statement.
