Presentation
The Villa Cavrois, built in Croix in the early 1930s by architect Mallet Stevens for the Cavrois family, is a truly contemporary château that incorporates all the advanced techniques of the time, and is an aesthetic shock whose effects are still perceptible today. Reinforced concrete structures, large bay windows, indirect lighting, ventilation, telephones and radios in every room, central heating and a lift make this building a condensation of modernity. A real break with the times, this unusual residence invites you to plunge into the intimacy of the Cavrois family, wealthy industrialists of the early 20th century. Even if you've visited it on your own or with an audio-guide, don't miss this unique opportunity to benefit from the commentary of a tour guide!
