Come and discover France's beer capital during one of its flagship events: the BAL 2025 festival.

L’Échappée Bière, organiser of the Lille Beer Festival, takes you on a weekend journey in the footsteps of this ancient drink, emblem of the North and its legendary conviviality.
On the programme: stroll through the cobbled streets of Old Lille, discover its colourful Flemish facades and immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere. Then stop off at a brewery dating back to 1740 to learn more about the brewing process and the history of beer in the region.
Next, step inside a cosy estaminet that brews its own beers to enjoy a typical regional meal, accompanied of course by some wonderful hoppy discoveries.
Continue the experience with an exclusive guided tour of the Lille Beer Festival alongside the organisers: a privileged immersion in the heart of the event, punctuated by three tastings of carefully selected craft beers.

Take the time to discover Lille in a different way with a panoramic City Tour by bus: an ideal way to admire the iconic monuments, historic squares and must-see neighbourhoods of the capital of Flanders.
To round off this cultural and gourmet weekend, treat yourself to a visit to La Piscine museum in Roubaix, one of France's finest museums, home to major works by Rodin, Claudel and Chagall.

Finally, take home some exclusive souvenirs: a beer kit including local beers, a booklet, a bottle opener and goodies, as well as a collector's edition festival T-shirt to prolong the experience at home.

Day 1 – Settling in and exploring
Upon arrival in Lille, check into your hotel room and settle in.
A warm welcome awaits you with your festival programme, allowing you to identify the evening's must-see events and activities.

You will also receive your beerologist's kit, including: 4 local beers to discover, a beerology booklet, a bottle opener, beer mats, and a few surprise goodies!

The evening is free for you to enjoy the city and its many typical brasseries and estaminets.

Day 2 – Brewing immersion and festival
After a hearty breakfast, the day begins with a visit to a microbrewery located in the centre of Lille, with three guided tastings.
Continue the experience with a gourmet lunch at a microbrewery, including: a choice of dish, a drink (tasting of four 12.5 cl beers or a non-alcoholic drink) and coffee or tea included.

In the afternoon, head to the Beer Festival!
Your VIP access entitles you to:
a 2-day pass,

and a guided tour by the organisers, including 3 beers to taste.

The evening is free again to continue your discoveries at your own pace.
