Presentation
Founded in 1845 under the name Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, Saint-Rémi High School is one of the major educational institutions that emerged with the industrial boom in Roubaix.
Its chapel, built in 1893, retains its heritage features, such as its stained-glass windows, organ and a painting of The Crucifixion by Eugène Leroy. It is a place familiar to many Roubaix residents, but one whose history deserves to be rediscovered.
