In 1668, Lille became French following its conquest by Louis XIV. This turning point had far-reaching consequences for the city and led, among other things, to the development of a new district: the “Royal District”. This tour takes place on Saturday 26 December and Saturday 27 February at 2.30 pm only in french.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
A reduced rate is available upon presentation of supporting documentation for the following groups: under-18s, students, jobseekers, RSA (income support) beneficiaries, people over 62, families of more than four people, people with disabilities and one accompanying person, as well as Greeters.
This tour is free of charge for children under 6 and qualified tour guides (upon presentation of their professional card), subject to prior booking.
The tour may be cancelled if there are not enough participants.
