Head to the Town Hall Belfry! After climbing the first 100 steps, continue your ascent on foot or by lift to the top. Once there, enjoy spectacular 360° views over Lille and its surroundings. An exceptional viewpoint from which to admire the city and appreciate the full extent of the capital of Flanders.

Then, sit back and relax aboard the double-decker bus and let yourself be guided through Lille’s iconic neighbourhoods. Along the way, discover its colourful façades, unmissable squares and major landmarks. From the upper deck, enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the city while learning about Lille through the audio-visual system available in 9 languages.

  • The Belfry is available by reservation every day at 10 am.
  • The City Tour operates from Tuesday to Sunday at 10.30 am, noon, 2.30 pm and 4 pm.
  • The City Tour and the Belfry are free of charge for children under 6, subject to prior booking by telephone or in person at any of the Metropolitan Tourist Office information centres.
  • The Belfry is free of charge and does not require a reservation on the first Wednesday of each month for individual visitors, subject to availability.
  • These visits are free of charge for qualified tour guides upon presentation of their professional card and subject to prior booking by telephone or in person at any of the Metropolitan Tourist Office information centres.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the City Tour departure in front of the Rihour Palace, Place Rihour.
  • To access the Belfry, please ring the bell at the large wooden door at its base, Place Simon Vollant.
