The Château district embodies the living history of Villeneuve d'Ascq. This tour highlights the work of architect Jean-Pierre Watel, an iconic figure in the urban development of the new town. His architecture is designed with people in mind, combining modernism, functionality and respect for the landscape. Each stage reveals an innovative vision of collective housing. The icing on the cake is that we will have the privilege of stepping inside one of these unique houses!

This tour takes place on Saturday 27 March at 2.30 pm.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts.
A reduced rate is available upon presentation of valid proof of eligibility for: under-18s, students, jobseekers, recipients of the French RSA minimum-income benefit, people aged 63 and over, families of 5 or more people, people with disabilities and one accompanying person, as well as greeters.
