The Château district embodies the living history of Villeneuve d'Ascq. This tour highlights the work of architect Jean-Pierre Watel, an iconic figure in the urban development of the new town. His architecture is designed with people in mind, combining modernism, functionality and respect for the landscape. Each stage reveals an innovative vision of collective housing.
