Presentation

Open the door to a beautiful home...

You may know them from having spotted and admired them while strolling through the streets of Roubaix!
Mansions and fine residences bear witness to the town's flourishing past and the prosperity of the great families who occupied them.
But what do these sumptuous façades, with their well-preserved decorations, conceal today?
Villa Sonneville: This large house in Roubaix was designed by the architect Dubois in 1926 for Albert Sonneville, a painter who wanted to combine his home, studio and exhibition space under the same roof. The house was the architect's last project (the first of his career was the Maison verte!).
The owners have restored the house to its former glory and recreated most of the original spaces.
Tea-time will be served, so don't forget to bring your best socks.
