Presentation
Listed as a historic monument, the Sainte-Thérèse Chapel is a remarkable example of the revival of sacred art in the late 1950s. Roubaix industrialist Philippe Leclercq entrusted the project to Swiss architect Hermann Baur and painter and master glassmaker Alfred Manessier, who created the magnificent stained-glass windows. Sculptor Eugène Dodeigne and mosaic artist Jean Barillet also participated in the project.
