Presentation
Built between 1890 and 1894 on the Barbieux hill, the former hospice is a fine example of late 19th-century hospital architecture.
Designed in accordance with hygienic principles, the complex is organised around a vast courtyard-garden designed by Georges Aumont, landscape architect for Parc Barbieux. Its detached pavilions, glass galleries and monumental porch give it a unique look.
