Presentation
The Gambetta school was founded in 1913 in a former town house in the Grande Rue, which was then an annex of the Lycée Turgot in Tourcoing.
A few years later, between 1923 and 1927, a new building designed by the architect Albert Bührer was constructed on the Boulevard Gambetta. Back to back, the two buildings are linked by an inner courtyard. Now a nursery and primary school, the site retains traces of its original history and architecture.
