Presentation

Welcome to the Palais Rameau, an iconic landmark in Lille's heritage, now reinvented to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Inaugurated in 1879 thanks to the generosity of Charles Rameau, this historic building was originally designed as a horticultural palace before becoming a space dedicated to innovation and experimentation in support of transitions. This project is fully in line with the school's mission: to train engineers capable of responding to economic, societal and environmental challenges. You will discover not only an architectural gem steeped in history, but also a full-scale demonstrator aimed at exploring and testing concrete solutions for more sustainable agriculture and food production.

Good to know
  • This tour is available in French on Wednesday 13 January and Wednesday 10 March, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
  • Please be there 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • On presentation of a certificate, a reduced rate is available for: under-18s, students, jobseekers, RSA recipients, the over-63s, families of more than five, disabled people and their carers, and greeters.
  • Free for children under 6, with prior booking.
  • This tour is free for tour guides on presentation of their professional card, and can be booked by telephone or at the reception desk of one of the Metropolitan Tourist Office branches.
